In The Sims and The Sims 2, there are arcade games/pinball machines. Arcade games help fill the Fun motive.

In The Sims, there is only a pinball machine that costs about 1,000 simoleans. In The Sims 2 base game, there are two pinball machines, that cost around 1,000 simoleans. In The Sims 2 University, two arcade games are added and are priced slightly more than the ordinary pinball machines. There is also one pinball machine added in the expansion pack. The Sims 2 Seasons, the Gamer career is added to the game, and the career reward is a giant pinball machine.
