It has been in business since 1996, and as of 2003 owns 60 percent of the Mac entertainment market. A port of the console game True Crime: New York City was created by Aspyr. Also notable is Aspyr's port of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock to the PC and Mac platforms.
