Athletic (career): Difference between revisions

Line 436:
*Two or more active Sims who are in Professional Sports Career can greatly influence the outcome of the game as both their preparation, the teammate performance, and Athletics come into play when determining the outcome of a game.
*How big of a score you have at the end of the game influences your job performance. Ex. Home 20 - Visitor 0 final score often lands you a promotion or increases your job performance greatly.
*Game Records are based on both the number of games attended and the number games won or lost. They effect a Sim's job performance rate. The more prepare the character is the more likely they'll go to a game. The more they win, the more likely they'll call you. If the characters does not attend a game or lose a game their record goes down. With that being said, this can impact a Sim's love life as well as their chances of starting a family. A sim is forced to take 2 day honeymoon if they marry another sim (unless a mod is used to remove this) and a female sim who gets pregnant has to take a 3 daysday maternity leave. (unless a mod is used to remove this) It is best to get married and start family at between Careers levels 1 and 4 to retain a perfect game record.
*Professional Sports is one of the many jobs were a Sim cannot "Suck up to their boss" or "Work Hard" during working hours without a mod being used. Unless a Sim has a computer and has the Workaholic trait, you cannot increase job performance nor make up any missing hours.
*As stated above, the boss cannot be engaged during work so building a relationship and asking for a promotion is better done outside of working hours.
