'''Bake Salessales''' are an activity added in ''[[The Sims 3: Ambitions]]''. It can be considered the successor (or predecessor if following timeline) of the [[lemonade stand]] from ''[[The Sims 2: Open for Business]]''. Bake sales allow [[child]]ren to make a little extra money while building their [[cooking]] skills. To run a bake sale, children must own both the [[The Baker's Half Dozen Stand|bake sale table]] and a [[Rip Co. Little Baker Oven|toy oven]] to make the baked goods.

The demand for specific baked goods changes every day. Children (and onlyOnly children) can check the demand by reading the newspaper. There are three different types of baked goods: chocolate, vanilla, and other. Prices for each type of baked good can be individually set.

Sadly, not everyone who visits the bake sale is interested in buying something. Other children may attempt to steal money from the bake sale. If an older simSim sees the child stealing, they will lecture the child and make them return the money. Older simsSims may also attempt to steal money from the bake sale themselves if they have the [[Evil|evil]] trait.
