While there is no ballet barre in any of the Sims expansions, the [http://store.thesims3.com/productDetail.html?productId=OFB-SIM3:66110 Stiff as a Board, Light as a Feather] Dance Collection available at the Sims 3 Store includes a barre that can be used by children through to elders. The barre includes the interactions "Warn Up", "Exercise" and "Train..." the last of which you can use to train other sims in ballet.
If you have installed Sims 3 Generations, sim children can also apply to take ballet classes after school by clicking on the school house. In these classes they will learn specific dance moves that they can then show off to other sims. If you own both Generations and the Light as a Feather dance barre, then they can learn these moves on the barre as well.
