A Bard or Bardin is a hero sim in The Sims Medieval. It is said that when royal weddings are arranged all the kingdom is invited and entertained by bards and knight parades, which can be controlled by the player.

The Bard specific building is the Tavern, where it is their job to entertain sims.

The Bard can write plays and poetry by gathering "inspiration" from people and places.

"Now, I'm a bard. That's medieval for 'lady-candy.'"
