Some focus is placed on the origins of the Bayless family. The in-game biography of the family, as well as [[Gwayne Bayless]]' biography tend to suggest that the family has been quite hard to track down over generations. It is Tay not Chase who grumbles about postrophes. No information exists in the family tree of any family member to show any relatives. Gwayne's bio might also hint at some past inbreeding, as anyone who tries to track the family line is only "led in circles," though this might simply indicate poor record-keeping, which, given the suggestion of a tendancytendency to theft and not paying bills{{Confirm}}, could be deliberate. There is a [[junkyard]] named after them.
