A Sim is in the zone

"Be in the Zone" is an autonomous interaction gained when a Sim reaches the final level of any hobby. Being "in the zone" causes the Sim to glow with a white light whenever performing an action pertaining to the hobby they have reached the maximum level in. However, it appears that Sims cannot be "in the zone" while in areas where enthusiasm cannot be built.

Effects of being in the zone

• Sim glows with a white light
• When using any musical instrument, Sim changed into Formal outfit, glows with white light, and invisible audience claps
• When using the Better Barre, the Sim will hear music and an audience clapping.
• When reading books from the book shelf, pickles a tune relating to that certain genre plays (Eg. A bouncy, happy, childish song that would suit a kid's show plays whenever the Sim reads a children's book).
• When Sims play basketball an invisible audience begins cheering.
• Sim gains skill points faster
• Sim completes random action/build/make faster when using an object that puts them in the zone i.e.: using the Robot Crafting Station with maxed Tinkering Hobby ^{[confirmation needed]}
• Sim gets paid more when playing for tips ^{[confirmation needed]}
• Needs decrease slower when in the zone

Glitches and errors

• There is a glitch on the game with bigfoot when he reaches the final level of any hobby. Sometimes the game will say an error happening with Bigfoot and if the player choose ignore it, the Bigfoot will still be "in the zone" and glow with a white light but they will not receive any effects for being in the zone.
