When the game starts, Beverly is friends with her younger son [[Thomas Castor\|Thomas]], but is enemies with her older son, [[Jeffrey Castor\|Jeffrey]]. Beverly's hairstyle, like [[Eva Drudge]]'s, is only available by using the makeover station or cheats (unlockoutfits on). The Castor family is implied to be a stereotypical 1950's suburban family that believes in good morals and traditional values, with the wife following the will of the husband, as Beverly's own biography implies. This also justifies why Beverly is a stay-at-home mom. It seems that the Castors' believe in stereotypical gender roles, with Beverly being a housewife and her husband Robert working a full time job. Although she does not have the [[bookworm]] trait, her biography hints that she would like to like some time for book reading too.
