this section is about modifying the biography, not adding new ones
(I added another paragraph to provide more info about what you can do with the bio tool. It is titled. "The Player" I now have 50 more characters to use, if I stop typing right here at this very point here.) |

Modifying a biography
In The Sims, a player can change a Sim's bio by holding Ctrl and clicking on the Sim's portrait on the interface. Players can also write a Sim's biography when in Create a Sim. In The Sims 2, a character's biography can be viewed and edited from within the personality panel. A family or household's biography can be changed when the household is selected in the neighborhood screen. In The Sims 3, a Sim's biography can be changed by opening the memories scrapbook.
Place within canon
Line 10:
Biographies play a major part in determining the canon of the The Sims series. Many Sim or family biographies contain information about pre-made characters and families that would not be known simply by looking at the Sim's memories, the family tree, or other sources. However, biographies do not always sync up with one another. Additionally, biographies often portray events or give details about things which cannot happen or do not exist within the game.
Sims from The Sims 3 Store worlds of Sunlit Tides, Monte Vista, Aurora Skies, Dragon Valley, Midnight Hollow, and Roaring Heights do not have personal biographies. Instead, all Sims of the same gender share the same description.
