'''Robert "Bob" Newbie, Jr.''' (born October 8, 1962), is a [[Sim]] who makes his first appearance (along with [[Betty Newbie]]) in the player tutorial in ''[[The Sims]]''. After the completion of the tutorial, he can be played like any other Sim. [[Timeline of events in The Sims series|Due to the in-game chronology]] in ''The Sims'' series, he appears as a teen in ''[[The Sims 3]]'', living with his parents [[Robert Newbie|Robert]] and [[Mags Newbie]] in Riverview. Bob is not alive in ''The Sims 2'', though he is present in the [[family tree]] of the [[Broke family]]. Aside from main title releases, Bob appears in several console games. He and Betty are some of the most popular Sims of all time. Because of that, two families appear to be based on them; these are the [[Pancakes family]] and the [[Andrews family]].
