Boots is the second oldest cat in the [[The Kat Family|Kat Family]], which appeared in the ''[[Unleashed]]'' expansion pack of [[The Sims]] with his owner, [[Ginia Kat]]. In [[The Sims: Superstar]], when a Sim reads the tabloid, one of the news featured is about a (random) star saving Boots, a local favorite, from a tree. Boots is a Siamese. His name is perhaps referred to the "Puss in Boots".
Although the pronouns in Boots' description imply he is male, s/he has been noted to give birth in some games.
