Sims who are not famous enough to gain access to a restricted area can try to bribe, convince or fight bouncers, but all of these interactions have a chance of failing. Depending on what [[content pack]]s the player has installed, there are other ways of getting past them, detailed in the list below:

* If ''[[Spa Day]]'' is installed, Sims with a high [[wellness]] skill level can teleport past a bouncer door via [[meditation]].

* [[Vampire]]s (from ''[[The Sims 4: Vampires|Vampires]]'') can sneak past bouncers if they've learned the "Bat Form" or "Mist Form" [[Vampire powers|powers]], and [[spellcaster]]s (from ''[[Realm of Magic]]'') can make use of the "Transportalate" [[Spells (The Sims 4: Realm of Magic)|spell]].
