In [[The Sims: Unleashed]], the Burbs are a family living in [[Old Town]]. The family members are [[Brad Burb|Brad]], [[Tiffany Burb|Tiffany]], their son [[John Burb|Johnny]], and [[Tucker Burb|Tucker]], the family dog.
In [[The Sims 2|Sims 2]] the Burbs are a family found in the family bin in Pleasantview. There are three members to the family as of the start of the game; Johnny (now known as John), [[Jennifer Burb|Jennifer]], and their child [[Lucy Burb|Lucy]].Jennifer is the sister of [[Daniel Pleasant]], and they are both the children of [[Diane Pleasant|Diane]] and [[Jeff Pleasant]] from the original Sims game.
Like both games, The Burbs are new to the town. In The Sims Unleashed, the Burbs moved to Old Town because Brad is tired of the city, while Tiffany is not. In The Sims 2, John, who had married Jennifer and was blessed with one child, Lucy, moved back to Pleasantview. Perhaps after he got married he moved to the city, and decided to return to their hometown.
