Business Perks came with the Expansion Pack The Sims 2: Open for Business. They are rewards for receiving customer loyalty points in a Business. You can get only a total of 10 Business Perks points per business, one per level of your Business. There are five sections of Business Perks: Connections, Perception, Cash, Wholesale and Motivation. Each section has five tiers. They are used to help your business do well, however some, such as Rally forth, can drain your energy.

  • Cash perks are one-time awards of cash which range from §1000 at level 1 to §50,000 at level 5. These awards are useful for venues, and can give a boost to any struggling new business.
  • Wholesale perks are useful for businesses that sell catalog items, as they increase the discount an owner gets when buying at wholesale. These discounts range from 12% at level 1 to 30% at level 5.
  • Perception perks are all about knowing what your potential buyers are thinking, and then convincing them to buy like crazy!
  • Motivation perks are all about boosting your sim’s ability to influence workers and boost your workers' moral so they can better serve your customers.
  • Connections perks are designed to help your Sim gain as many good relationships with other Sims as possible, even to the point where you can call Sims your Sim hasn't even met yet!
