Calvin's parents, [[Clement Riffin|Clement]] and [[Clarissa Riffin|Clarissa]] died in a fire accident at the ranch when he was a teen and he grew a maturity above his age, as he had to take care of his siblings. He is now learning new things about him that he didn't know previously, such as the many skills he has. He is raising his siblings with the help of his neighbors and good friends: [[Jacquie Miller|Jacquie]], [[Quincy Miller|Quincy]] and [[Maisy Miller|Maisy]], who watch out closely his steps closely. Jacquie's innocent daughter might have an interest in Calvin.
