In the 25 years that have theoretically passed between ''[[The Sims]]'' and ''[[The Sims 2]]'', she makes her reappearance living in Goth Manor with her aging father, [[Mortimer Goth]], and her bright younger brother, [[Alexander Goth]]. She has grown into an adult and honors her last name. She wears a long, black, Medieval-style dress; host pigtails; round glasses; and rarely smiles. She is engaged to [[Don Lothario]], the neighborhood Casanova. Cassandra does not realize, or appears unaware that he is also involved with several other women. She is also unaware of the crush that [[Darren Dreamer]] has on her. She works as a Field Researcher in the [[Science]] [[career]] track, like her father, [[Mortimer Goth|Mortimer]]. Cassandra is an [[adult]] and becomes an [[elder]] in 26 days. She is generally shy, neat and occasionally playful, her favorite activities are playing piano and reading. Cassandra wants to have a family and live a normal life. She is close friends with [[Mary-Sue Pleasant]], and has been since they were children. When you first play as the Goths in ''The Sims 2'', Cassandra and Don are in the backyard and the game gives you a tip to set the mood with Don. Once you do that you can get married right away and call a party or just do it with Cassandra's family, although it is usual for Don to leave Cassandra at the altar under these circumstances. Unlike most Sims, she had her First Kiss as an adult, whereas almost everyone else has it as a teenager.
A bit of trivia is that Cassandra is the only pre-made adult in Pleasantview who can trace back to any of his or her great-grandparents. This is probably because Gunther and Cornelia's parents are buried in the family graveyard and haunt the grounds, and therefore need to have character files. Another interesting fact is that Cassandra is a very young adult, and if 25 years have passed, then she should be in her mid adult life. If not, that would mean she should have been a baby in the Sims. ALso, she and Mary-Sue have memories of meeting during their childhood, even though Mary-Sue is ''much'' older than Cassandra.
