The Castor Family is a family that appears in The Sims 3: Ambitions, and lives at 32 Sweetwater Loop in Twinbrook. The house is a spacious 3-bedroom home with a basement and detached garage, built to resemble a suburban-style house from a 1950s sitcom. Robert and Beverly first met through an internet dating site, though the family does not own a computer, and the house, clothing, and behavior of the members of the family more closely resemble the stereotypical 'Nuclear Family' than the family described in its biography.

Robert serves as the family's only working Sim and breadwinner, and is described as strict and traditional. Beverly follows her husband's traditional views and fulfills the role of a housewife, which may be a reference to stereotypical gender roles in the past. Thomas is portrayed as a trouble-making, but the ultimately good child. Jeffrey is shown as evil and at odds with his family, and is enemies with his entire family.
