The Castor Family is a family that appears in The Sims 3: Ambitions, and lives at 32 Sweetwater Loop in Twinbrook. The house is a spacious 3-bedroom home with a basement and detached garage, built to resemble a suburban-style house from a 1950s sitcom. Robert and Beverly first met through an internet dating site, though the family does not own a computer, and the house, clothing, and behaviour of the members of the family more closely resemble the stereotypical 'Nuclear Family' than the family described in its biography. The family starts with §2,600.

Robert serves as the family's only working Sim and breadwinner, and is described as strict and traditional. Beverly follows her husband's traditional views and fulfils the role of housewife.That may be why she is unemployed. Young son Thomas is portrayed as a trouble-making, but ultimately good, child. Teen son Jeffrey is shown as evil and at odds with his family, and is enemies with all his relatives. Their appearance gives off that they are possibly from the 1950's or so. Beverly Castor, the mother of Thomas Castor, may have been strict on relationships in the family, especially Thomas.
