When left alone with Story Progression enabled, he usually marries [[Jamie Jolina]] or [[Monika Morris]]. Despite his game bio as "lucky by nature", he lacks the [[Lucky]] trait. He is often percieved as a very average sim, the most basic you can get.

He shares the same last name with [[Mike Steel]], a deceased Sim in [[Strangetown]] from ''[[The Sims 2]]''. He also shares the last name with [[Donnovan Steel]], from [[Lucky Palms]]. It is unknown whether they have any connection to each other.
