Constance Shelley: Difference between revisions

 

Her name is a possible reference to the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, and his poem "To Constantia, Singing," which is commonly interpreted to be about Claire Clairmont, the unmarried sister of his wife Mary. Mary Shelley was also, like Constance, a writer, known for her novel Frankenstein.
