She first appeared in the ''[[Unleashed]]'' expansion pack along with her husband, [[Gunther Goth]], and their two cats, [[Hecuba Goth|Hecuba]] and [[Menelaus Goth|Menelaus]]. She is the matriarch of the [[Goth Family]] and [[Pleasantview]].

 

Cornelia was born in the [[Old Country]], and then moved to [[Sunset Valley]], which was renamed [[Old Town]] in ''The Sims: Unleashed'', and renamed [[Pleasantview]] in ''[[The Sims 2]]''. She is the mother of [[Mortimer Goth]], husband to the now famous [[Bella Goth]]. Cornelia was the wife of Gunther Goth, and the daughter of [[Simon Crumplebottom]] and [[Prudence Crumplebottom]], both of [[Pleasantview]]; she has one sibling, [[Agnes Crumplebottom]].

Since ''[[The Sims 3]]'' is a prequel to ''[[The Sims]]'', Cornelia and Gunther are adults. Her appearance is somewhat of a goth, with purple colored hair, though her natural hair color is black. She wears a long, dark purple/black dress. She is best friends with her sister [[Agnes Crumplebottom]].

 

If resurrected she will be using the normal French Braid hairstyle present in the game, though her headshot will still depict her with the old unused one.

In ''[[The Sims]] [[Unleashed]]'', Cornelia lived with [[Gunther Goth|Gunther]] and their cats [[Hecuba Goth|Hecuba]] and [[Menelaus Goth|Menelaus]] in a large mansion at [[77 Maple Street]] in [[Old Town]], a little further from [[Neighborhood 1|Sim Lane]]. The home has a small graveyard (like all Goth homes) but there are no ghosts, so it is not known who is buried there. Perhaps, [[Gunther Goth|Gunther]] died in a fire in the mansion, then Cornelia died in the [[The Goth Home|Goth home]], which then was re-constructed into a new and improved house for [[Mortimer Goth|Mortimer]], [[Cassandra Goth|Cassandra]] and [[Alexander Goth]] in ''[[The Sims 2]]''. In ''[[The Sims 3]]'', Cornelia, Gunther and Mortimer live in a big house with its own cemetery.
