The Craft-A-Gargoyle bench is a crafting bench which was introduced in The Sims: Makin' Magic. It is similar to the Gnome Bench, in that it builds the mechanical skill and that the gargoyles a Sim makes can be sold.
Sims can give gargoyles, in their inventory, to other Sims as a social interaction.
It is also true that the Obsessed Fan takes a gargoyle and leaves black roses, which are an ingredient of the Price of Fame charm.[TS:S]
