In SimCity Lore, Gargoyles were once thought to have mystical powers that allowed them to keep a building free of annoying guests, but as SimCity progressed to new and more functional forms of architecture, Gargoyles became a relic of a forgotten age. Are you bothered by unwanted visitors? Well, even if you're not, they're at least a nice change from the garden gnomes . . .

The Craft-A-Gargoyle bench is a crafting bench which was introduced in The Sims: Makin' Magic. It is similar to the Gnome Bench, in that it builds Mechanical skill and that the gargoyles a Sim makes can be sold.

It is also true that the Obsessed Fan takes a gargoyle and leaves black roses, which are an ingredient of the Price of Fame charm.[TS:S]
