Cribs are a store item designed for babies and toddlers.There are many different cribs.If there is a crib in a sims house when the baby is born the sim will automatically put the baby down in it, if you don't have a crib the sim will put the baby on the floor |

A crib in The Sims
Cribs are not available to purchase in Buy mode since whenever a baby is born, it will automatically appear with and inside it's crib. However, the baby is merely a lump covered in its bedding until removed by another Sim. As long as the baby is in the crib, the crib can be moved in Buy mode or Build mode.
If looked after sufficiently, the baby becomes a child after 72 game hours and the crib will be self-removed.
