Crib: Difference between revisions

Cribs in ''The Sims 4'' are known as bassinets. Like ''The Sims'' but unlike ''The Sims 2 ''and'' The Sims 3'', the bassinet is tied to a particular baby until that baby ages up. However unlike ''The Sims'', it will not disappear when its current occupant ages up but it can be sold for §150 or be used by babies who are born later in the household.

The bassinet is provided automatically free-of-charge if the player decides that the pregnant Sim give birth at the hospital. Otherwise, if the player wishes to have the birth take place at home, a bassinet will need to be purchased before the birth can continue. In either case, the player can change the bassinet's color at any time.

Unlike ''The Sims 2'' and ''The Sims 3'', toddlers cannot sleep in bassinets. They will instead sleep in toddler-sized beds.
