His wife [[Ophelia Piece|Ophelia]] drowned in a fishing hole, which could be a reference to how Ophelia from Shakespeare's Hamlet died, (her tragic death left him bitter just like [[Agnes Crumplebottom]]). He has two ex-girlfriends, [[Odessa Cross]] and [[Patty Abe]]. He is also romantically interested in [[Agnes Seabottom]]. His wife, while alive, cheated on him without him noticing, as when resurrected, she will be romantically interested in [[Lee-Roy Johnkins]], but he doesn't appear to know of it. He is friends with [[Willy McKellar]], [[Jeff Smith]], [[Gil Lai]], [[Thomas Quill]] and [[Moe Pesce]], but enemies with [[Finn Annan]].
