It only appears in [[The Sims 3]], and can be aquired by growing them from an Unknown Special Seed using the [[Gardening (The Sims 3)|Gardening]] skill. A single sample of the flower can be picked from [[Pleasant Rest Graveyard]]. It cannot be duplicated using a Nova Plant.
Unknown Special Seeds can be mass-aquired around Pleasant Rest Graveyard, reappearing every few days. These seeds can grow Money Trees, Life Fruit (which incidentally can reduce a sim's age by a few days) or Death Flowers. Exploring the Catacombs can also result in finding an Unknown Special or Death Flower seed.
The Death Flower can seemingly be planted regardless of Gardening level (though level 3 would be reccomended to weed the plant). After it reaches the Harvest stage (it will always be Perfect, seemingly) it can be picked for a single Death Flower, killing the plant in the process. However, Sims with the [[List_of_Traits|Green Thumb]] [[Trait]] can revive the plant. The first time this is done, it is
