In [[Olive Specter]]'s memories, you see that she was engaged to Earl, but he left her at the altar and then died (suspiciously) soon after. Some players of ''The Sims 2'' suggest that perhaps Earl made a fatal mistake when he decided to leave [[Olive Specter]]. Some players believe that perhaps Olive murdered Earl, as well as with her next three husbands, [[Hugh Thanasia]], [[Rigger Mortis]], and [[Ichabod Specter]], who died without having left her at the altar however. This theory has not yet been entirely proved, but it's certainly a strong possibility.
