Edge Scrolling is a feature of The Sims games that was introduced in The Sims and has appeared in all games since. It is enabled by default in The Sims, The Sims 2 and The Sims Stories but in The Sims 3 and The Sims Medieval, it is disabled by default.

Effect

When the mouse is at the edge of the screen, the screen will scroll to where the mouse is. Exceptions to this is iif the game is running on windowed mode.
