Education has a below-average pay at every rank and follows a severely bent pay curve. Out of the 20 career tracks in '''The Sims''', '''Livin' Large''', and '''Unleashed''', it is the fourth-worst-paying at ranks 4 and 5, third-worst-paying at rank 6, second-worst-paying at Rank 7, and tied with '''Military''' for second-worst-paying at rank 8. It has the third-lowest combined pay over all ten ranks ($3990), with only '''Slacker''' and '''Circus''' being worse. Requiring only 9 friends to reach rank 10, it is the sixth-easiest career track to climb, but '''Hacker''', '''Fashion''', and '''Animal Care''' are all even easier to climb while still offering more pay at almost every level.
