On April 1st, 2019, Electroic Arts announced that they would be shutting down. This means that The Sims 4 will no longer be worked on, as they are also shutting down Maxis. Electronic Arts is shutting down because of popular demand. Online severs, including the Gallery, will be shut down on April 10th, three days before the complete shutdown. One last patch for all of their games will be released that day, which will only fix bugs. Games will also be taken off the shelves in stores. Also, HAPPY APIRL FOOLS!
