Sometimes the employee will be unsatisfied with their job, to fix this owners or the household that owns the business can praise the employee for their work, criticising employees for their work will make them work better but their mood will lower. Sometimes praising an employee for their work just won't cut it and will ask for a promotion to which it is up to the Sims decision whether or not to promote them. Not doing so will lower the employees relationship with the employer and risk them quitting.
 
Employees for both Retail and Restaurant are dictated by four things: Mood, Skill, Work Hours, and Pay/Promotion.
 
'''Mood''': Mood is very important for an employee as it is important for their every day life, mood can effect the employees work on carrying out their job, and could affect other customers moods as well. Help improve the employees mood by making the owner praise them or tell them a joke to lift their spirits.
 
'''Skill''': An employee can be as happy as a chipper, but sadly, no amount of smouldering can fix their work on serving food. Hosts must be welcoming and charismatic to lead the customers to their tables, Chefs must be good at cooking and serving quick in order to make sure the meal will be grand, and the Waiter must deliver the food to the table without dropping it and make sure the customer is having a good meal.
 
Improving the employees skill can easily be done by having the owner give them money to train once they are off their shift, after a day the employee will return to work with a higher skill.
 
'''Work Hours''': An employee can do very well and be an amazing service, but nothing can ever stop the clock going by. After 8-10 hours Employees will begin to feel tired after a long days work and this will greatly affect their mood and skill. This can be monitored by the employees thoughts, and to make the employees feel happy, calling it a day for the Restaurant will make the customers and employees go home for a real nice rest.
 
'''Pay/Promotion''': A check is given out at the end of the day to all employees, and sadly, after repetitive top notch work, employees will be saddend to see all their hard work is still giving them the same amount of pay every day. Employees that won't get their desired pay are risked on quitting. To make sure the employees feel happy, make the owner give them a promotion in which will make them get a better pay and more willing to come in every day to work.

All employees can be promotes and demoted a level, all employees start at level 1 and cannot be demoted, from there they can be promoted multiple times or demoted back all the way to level 1.
