They cannot be autonomously hired, but they, however, always show up in either bachelor or bachelorette party. They have the ability of spraying [[Nectar]] on other Sims or dancing with the guests. Entertainers may also be hired one of the guests at the party.
Depending on whether the Sim is having a bachelor or bachelorette party, their guests might either hire a male or female entertainer. Usually, when a bachelor party is occuring a female entertainer shows up; when a bachelorette party occurs, a male entertainer shows up.
