One night, Adrian and Cassandra took a walk down the beach. Adrian being a proper sim, suggested they do so in their formal wear. Quite spontaneously, they decided to get married. For her safety and for their future children, he asked her not to take his lastname. Cassandra obliged. She knew the dangers of his job.

When she became pregnant, Cassandra did not tell her family about her secret marriage. The pregnancy went well. Adrian rushed her to the hospital, when she went into labour. The baby was born a normal sim, they named her Aria.
When they were alone, Adrian bit Cassandra, beginning the transformation into a vampire.
