Later, Christine heard the rumor about the murders conducted by [[Fanon:The Pleasantview Killer|an unknown serial killer]] which had killed five people.
Christine was interested to investigate the case, however, her family against her plan. Once she learned that Bryan also interested to investigate the case, she promptly ask him to team up in order to solve the case and capture the killer. Even though Bryan rejected at first, Christine was able to convince him to join. Their first attempt of investigation was by investigating the victims. Christine asked her cousin Daniel to got a copy of her aunt Jean's document about the victims' identity, in which Daniel reluctantly accepted.
Several days later, Christine confronted by [[Fanon:Mikhaela Rogers|Mikhaela Rogers]] who accused her for ''stealing'' Bryan. Mikhaela attacked Christine, only to be stopped by Bryan who just passing by.
