Not too long after moving into [[Courtyard Lane]] in Willow Creek, Damian sees his mother, Monique, talking to one of the neighbors, [[Fanon:Joanna Parker|Joanna Parker]]. Joanna notices Damian's age and as such, Monique takes Damian over to the Parker home for a playdate with Joanna's daughter, [[Fanon:Jenna Parker|Jenna Parker]]. Damian talks and plays with Jenna long enough that Jenna masters her communication. Damian becomes friends as a result. About a week later, Damian is left in the care of a babysitter while Monique heads over to the Parker home for a going away party for the [[Fanon:The Cagle Family|Cagle family]].
