After he retired, his daughter married and moved out of the manor, while he continued living in the manor until his death in 1961. His daughter [[Fanon:Annabeth Hallaway|Annabeth]] then moved back in to the manor with her husband and daughter after her father'shis death, tending after her aging mother.
