During his twenties he moved back to his hometown Lucky Palms to pursue his Artistic carrer there. In 1998 he met is first love Darleen Dreamer, she then gave birth to his first child Dirk Dreamer on January 31, 1999. They got married on the same year. They stayed in Lucky Palms until 2005 when Darleen finally decided she wanted to move to Pleasantview due to it's family-friendly environment.
Darren lost Darleen on December 24, 2006 during Christmas Eve when she was burned alive in a fire
