Described as dull and boring, Dennis truly loves his family. It was love at first sight when it came to Maria Lopez. Wherever they lived previously is where they got married and had two sons, Trevor and Tucker and one daughter, Celeste. And because with their ever growing family, Dennis and Maria decided to move to Willow Creek where Dennis got a job at the corporation, Dewey, Cheatem and Howe. He also wants to pursue his lifetime dream of becoming a Renaissance Sim. He is also expecting a fourth child with Maria who was recently born, a son named Brendon. Dennis has skills in charisma, comedy, cooking, logic, mischief, fitness and video gaming. Dennis's current position at his company is Assistant Manager. Dennis has also lived to see his son get married because he doesn't know many people outside his family.
It is implied that Dennis is born to [[Fanon:Lawrence Gallagher|Lawrence]] and [[Fanon:Maggie Gallagher|Maggie]] in [[Willow Creek]] while they are both still teenagers. Dennis is their only child for many years until he becomes the older brother to his younger sister, [[Fanon:Karissa Gallagher|Karissa]]. He then eventually meets and marries his wife, [[Fanon:Maria Gallagher|Maria]] before moving in with her in [[Oasis Springs]].

Dennis lives at Rio Verde in [[Oasis Springs]] with Maria. Not too long after that they are married and settled in, Dennis and Maria welcome their twin children into the world. They named their children [[Fanon:Trevor Gallagher|Trevor]] and [[Fanon:Celeste Gallagher|Celeste]]. Dennis currently works as a Live Chat Support Agent in the [[Tech Guru]] career in order to help provide for his newfound family.

Dennis responds that they reacted normally and assumes that she wants to do the same with her boyfriend. Then, he advises her to do what she thinks is best.

Dennis eventually visits his parents and sister for his grandparents' anniversary party. He is immediately welcomed by Maggie and Karissa's dog, [[Fanon:Barney Gallagher|Barney]]. After a dinner prepared by Lawrence, Karissa takes Dennis into her room where she reveals that she's pregnant. Dennis is then asked some advice. He says that their parents never discussed the fact that he was born while they were teenagers. He then advises that Karissa tell Maggie and Lawrence about the pregnancy sooner rather than later.
