The Announcement that ''The Sims 3'' was in production lead to speculation that Dina and Nina would return to the game; no confirmation was made and when an advert was released featuring a blonde woman with a elderly rich man, speculation mounted and many believed this to be Dina. EA Games refused to comment on the character and simply stated that viewers would have to "buy the game" when it was released. Upon release, Dina and Nina were no where to be seen. The storyline in the game was set before the events of ''The Sims'' and ''The Sims 2'', so an appearance from either Dina or Nina would contradict the storyline in ''The Sims 2''. Despite this, Dina confirmed on her YouTube page that she would be involved with ''The Sims 3'', but it wouldn't be as "big" as it was in ''The Sims 2'' and it would be later on in the year. In 2010, a new neighborhood was available for download named "Barnacle Bay", the same name of the town Dina and Nina were brought up in; and much to fans delight, Dina and Nina made a return as a younger form of themselves. Dina claimed her decision to return was purely down to "fans request" and said that she was pleased that her return wasn't on as bigger scale as her Sims 2 appearance. Many fans criticized Dina and Nina's return, however, stating that their personalities had switched and that some of their story lines, traits and aspirations contradicted those of ''The Sims 2'', some also said that they didn't look enough like heir characters in ''The Sims 2''. Many critics claimed they believed that EA Games used the two characters to attract people to buy the town, as both characters had proved popular in ''The Sims 2''. Dina announced on her official YouTube page that she was working with "Simmy B" for her third album. The first single titled "Can't Get You Out Of My Mind' was officially released on the 1st April 2011; the single was met by mixed reviews, some saying that it was a classic "cheesy pop song," with others saying they felt the lyrics "didn't make sense". Nevertheless, the song went on to be Dina's first Number 1 single over at EA Music and the video won an award for "most creative Sim Video". The album was released on the the 11th April; it has been Dina's most downloaded album to date and scored number 4 on the EA Music Album charts. [[File:Inthespotlight.jpg|thumb|In The Spot Light Cover]] Dina's second single from the album is set to be called "Starlight", which has proved to be a fan favorite from the album. Dina announced earlier this year that she intends to go on tour at the end of this year; the tour dates were released with most being held at the Bridgeport Arena. There were 10 tickets per show on sale upon original release, however, due to them selling quickly, the number was extended to 25 per show. It was also announced in March that a 2nd Circus Of Horror is in the works, with Dina being confirmed to return as the main character once again; there have also been rumors of a Sims Factor arriving on YouTube in the coming months and speculation lead people to believe that Dina was set to be a judge; this has not been confirmed.
