The answer is yes and no, given that the doctrines are indeed based on the author's views as well, although there isn't one sim that could be pointed as an author avatar given their immense amount of skills that would vastly dwarf that of the author himself, although the traits generally are derived from the author: most notably Computer Whiz, Loner, Unflirty, and Frugal.
* The Ecclesiarchy as an author's intent was based primarily on the Jesuits. However, in practice, the Ecclesiarchy is most similar to Bene Gesserit of the Dune universe (while its technocratic and morally grey practices make them also similar to the Ix and the Bene Tleilax), and like the similarity between Yagokoro Eirin and Kallisto, the similarity between the two organization is purely coincidental.
