After she passed her finals and entered her junior year, Eileen decided to take a break from dating. She became more interested in learning and math. Drama still found its way into her life. During a visit, Jacob was telling Eileen about a girl he met, none other than Kendra Aubrey. They were dating, and although things were awkward at first, Eileen saw that they were good together and was happy for them.
Dalton later came out as bi, and surprised Eileen with the revelation that he had been dating his friend, Zeb. Them being open caused Eileen to question her own sexuality, and she realized that she was also bi. She thought about Melissa, how deeply she admired her even before they were close friends. While she and Melissa experimented a little, they never became a couple since Eileen wasn't looking to date anyone. Well also the fact that Melissa turned out to be straight. But she also realized she still has some residual feelings for Dalton, who she kept at a distance following all the drama with Mitch and Jeanette. Eileen decided that if she ever found herself in a relationship like that again, she wouldn't screw it up. She started reading up on anger management and couples counseling in her spare time.

==Adulthood==
After graduation, Eileen and Dalton got an apartment together in Belladonna Cove. Their friends Melissa and Scott visited with some surprising news: they had been dating for awhile. The two soon got engaged, and Eileen agreed to let Melissa move in with them while she planned her wedding to Scott. For awhile the Tinsley residence was a busy place as Dalton and Eileen hurried to put the finishing touches on [[File:DaltonEileenWedding_1.png|left|230px|Dalton and Eileen's Wedding]] their fast approaching wedding with limited income (as both were struggling to find work), all while Melissa was wrapped up in planning her own wedding. She shopped with Melissa to find a cheap dress, and they kept the ceremony small and intimate, opting to have the reception at their apartment complex. Soon the two were married and embarked on their honeymoon, staying at a hidden campsite in Three Lakes - the very same one where they'd exchanged I love yous 3 years prior.
Upon arrival Dalton took a job as a barista since the couple needed some income. Eileen later found an entry-level position as a gumshoe.
