The joy of their daughter's birthday brought Tamsin and Eoghan closer together, and they made love for the first time since the affair was outed. Eoghan finally granted Tamsin his forgiveness, and not long later, they renewed their vows to one another. It was not as good news for Archer and Opal, as soon after Eoghan and Tamsin reunited, Opal officially asked Archer for a divorce, before leaving the household once and for all, and leaving young Lance in his father's care.
