Nia woke up from her dream.

Nia went to get ready. She wore a nice dark blue dress, and she looked slightly conservative, but this was a very important night! This was no casual date, it was her 54 year anniversary with her boyfriend. They've dated since they were freshmensophomores, and some people were surprised that high schoolers could keep a relationship that long, but Nia felt it was fate that they met.
At the restaurant, she parked in the parking lot behind it. Suddenly a conspicuous man came behind her.
"What are you gonna do about it?" he threatened. "You're just a girl!"
"Yeah, but I know some martial artstricks,"
"Oh, shut up! I'm getting your car NOW!" he tried to punch her in the face but before he could Nia punched his gut, then kicked him to the ground.

One day later, Nia was working on a novel she was writing since 10th grade. It was called "Great-Grandma Time Travels" and it was about a young girl named Kimberly who invents time travel. Then she goes to the future to visit her great-grandchildren. However, when her time machine breaks she has to find a way to get out of the future before she's stuck there forever!

Mrs. Fairfax was a very old woman, from her looks, one can infer she was very smart. She had white hair in a bun with chopsticks and looked kind of Asian. The two gathered to a table.
"So, I'm going to ask you some questions to see if you are suited enough to attend Montana University," she stated. "First... What is your name?"
"My name is Petunia Toadstool," Nia replied.
"Got it... Petunia... what?" she wrote down.
"Toadstool, T-o-a-d-s-t-o-o-l." Nia replied.
"Toadstool?" She raised her eyebrow at Nia.

"Alright Ms. Toadstool, thank you for the interview. I'll keep in touch." Mrs. Fairfax said, then turned to leave.
"Hey Nia, who are you talking too?" a middle aged man's voice said. It was Grant.
"Oh heavens..." Mrs. Fairfax sighed.
"This is Mrs. Fairfax. She's from Montana University, and now she's here to interview me."
"Huh... I can't believe she's still alive!"
"Whoa... that was uncalled for!" Nia said, surprised at her father's rude remark. Normally he is kind.
"Okay... I'm only 97!" Mrs. Fairfax said "and I am leaving now before things get ugly! But it was nice to meet you Nia!"
She left, then Nia turned to her father.
"Dad, did you really pull pranks on her when you went to college?"
"Yeah... I didn't like it, but my college 'friends' blamed all the pranks on me and Mrs. Fairfax hated me since."
"Oh... well I'm sorry about that..." Nia admitted. "I just hope it doesn't ruin my chances of getting into college!"

It had been a few months after her college interview, and Nia learned she was accepted to Montana University!. So was her boyfriend, Gregory Brandt. So they took a plane ride to Montana.
Nia's uncle and aunt let them live in the guest bedroom while they were there attending the university.

"And just imagine if you and I never had that sleepover! I would have gone to the hotel with my parents, then Vicky wouldn't have been born, and my mom would make my life a living nightmare!" Astrid exclaimed. "I have a diary entry all about this..."

"Yes I did, that girl used to go to my high school and she's such a jerk," Nia told her.

"I'm the oldest, and not many people met me. Bullying got so bad with me that I had to move with my grandparents and be home schooled by them." She said.
