Just before David became an elder, Tyler became the last of the Original 8 to pass away. David had just finished painting all of the picture of the other Originals, so he also did Tyler's and placed all of the pictures next to the urns of each Original at the cemetery. David also became the heir of the Harper family. Shortly after, Lee and Brad moved out of the household to create/join another of their own, and Franklin moved in to join by being engaged to Chad.
Corbin then grew up to be a young adult and also moved out. Then Franklin gave birth to twins [[Fanon:Randall Harper|Randall]] and [[Fanon:Ron Harper|Ron Harper]]. David took this time to also prep Chad to take over the household so that he could enjoy his old age to do what he wants without the burden of running everything. During this time [[Fanon:Raymond Harper|Raymond]] was also born. When [[Fanon:Brent Harper|Brent]] was born, David was ready to turn over the household duties.
