Koriana served in the Liberation Army Air Force. Throughout her time in the LAAF, she was assigned to the airship ''Liberator''. She entered the force as an ensign and steadily climbed the chain of command until she became first officer of the ''Liberator''. Upon the death of Captain Olaf Milne in 2158, she was officially declared commanding officer of the airship. She led the ''Liberator'' through the Battle for SimCity, where she sacrificed herself as she manually piloted her heavily damaged ship, crashing into the Federal Armed Forces Telecommunications Array outside the city. This disconnected defending Government troops from their commanders. It was Koriana's final act that allowed Liberation Army soldiers to successfully break the defences of the floundering Federal Army and to end the war.
After the end of the Liberation War, at Koriana's own request, her name was changed, having her last name removed due to association with her tyrant father. She became '''Koriana Colpa''', and it was under this name that she was buried. Koriana posthumously received the Cross of Valour and the Medal of the Phoenix. She is buried in the Pleasant Meadows Cemetery of Oasis Landing.
