During one of her night's out with Kyle, Lara got completely drunk and got tattoo, coming home at 5 am in the morning. Her excessive partying began to put a strain on her relationship with her parents as she became more and more rebellious and argumentative.
The situation became only worse when her mother unexpectactly became pregnant again and gave birth to twins. Eventually, Lara and her mother had a major falling out after Lara threw a house party for her friends while her parents were away to visit Lily that ended with Lara running away from home and moving into a shabby apartment in San Myshuno together with her boyfriend.
Lara continued her wild partying while she lived with Kyle and neglected school. She would stay awake all night and sleep long into the day, all the while ignoring all attempts of her mother and sister to contact her. Meanwhile her boyfriend started to get into fights and make enemies, with Lara being to blind to see him for the dangerous person he was. She also completely changed her style and one morning, after another night of excessive partying, she cut off her long hair which she previously had loved so much.
