Petunia was born in California on August 24th 2000 to her parents and was an only child. Her grandparents Victor and Carrie lived with Nia and her parents because Nia's parent were busy with work to watch her. They left when she started school however. Her mother taught her alphabet when she was 1 year old and that's when Nia had began her love of literature. When she entered elementary school she won lots of spelling bees and a short story contest. People called her The Book Geek when she was in middle school.
