The two then left the school and headed to ''The Grind''. Nina was born in Hidden Springs as the elder of the twin daughters of Flamenco and Katrina Caliente. She and her sister were so close to their parents, especially their father, Flamenco. However, Flamenco died in a fire incident, causing the twins' life and personality to changed forever. She and her family then moved to Sunset Valley thanks to Cornelia Goth's suggestion. \|-\|Book 2= At some point in her high school years, Nina would date Malcolm Landgraab, even though he only toying with him as she often enjoyed flirting with other guys, including Mortimer Goth. Nina and Dina then accepted as part of Leona's group. Nina later went on date with Malcolm. She then received a call from Dina who asked if Nina was serious with Malcolm, however, Nina secretly told Dina that she was not serious dating him.
